SHANG XIA presents a limited edition Carbon Fiber Wall-mounted Shelf as a collaborative piece exclusively for collectors. The patterns for this collection were chosen from Huang Yuxing’s iconic work Bubble.

The Carbon Fiber Display Shelf draws inspiration from Ming furniture, combining classic harmonious, rounded contours with modern technology and advanced craftsmanship to innovatively interpret contemporary art.

Bubble was inspired by Huang Yuxing's exploration of the themes of ‘rivers’ and ‘whirlpools’. With boundless imagination, he depicts bubbles rising to the surface of a churning river, reflecting the individual human experience from a micro-perspective. The existence of these bubbles symbolises instantaneous disillusionment while also briefly embodying eternity, revealing the multi-faceted nature of the unity of opposites. Irregular oval shapes in dark blue, pink-purple, and vermilion hues overlap in perspective, changing the colours in their wake and creating a sense of lightness and joy through their collisions. In harmony with the lightweight texture of carbon fiber material, there's a duality of aesthetics seamlessly blended, infusing living rooms, entrance areas, and other wall spaces with a magnificent artistic ambiance.
