Inspired by the timeless beauty of Ge ware porcelain, one of the Five Great Kilns of the Song dynasty, the Ming Yuan dining table brings this ceramic tradition into contemporary furniture. Crafted with a Ge ware porcelain base and a black walnut tabletop, the design showcases the iconic crackled glaze, distinguished by its intricate network of fine dark and golden lines. The sculptural base supports a black walnut tabletop with a rotating porcelain center tray inspired by the shape of a lotus leaf. Twilight Collection Bamboo Marquetry Tea Table
Inspired by the symmetry and structural balance of traditional Chinese architecture, the Bamboo Marquetry Tea Table features a broad black walnut tabletop with subtly raised edges recalling upturned eaves. Its trapezoidal base incorporates oval bamboo marquetry panels, contrasting rounded and rectangular forms in reference to the traditional concept of a round heaven and square earth.
The bamboo marquetry allows light to pass through the structure, recalling the openings and lattice windows of traditional architecture. Hand-hammered details along the tabletop and base add a subtle texture to the black walnut, catching and reflecting the light across the surface.
Designed for tea preparation, an integrated water tray and drainage system is concealed within the tabletop, combining practical functionality with a clean, uninterrupted form.
Twilight Collection Bamboo Marquetry Sideboard
Crafted in black walnut, the Bamboo Marquetry Sideboard combines a structured cabinet with a slender metal base. A circular bamboo marquetry panel is set into the cabinet front, while horizontal bamboo details extend across three sides of the raised top. The contrast between round and rectangular forms references the traditional Chinese concept of a round heaven and square earth.
The finely arranged bamboo filters the light and contrasts with the warmth of the black walnut. Inside, drawers, shelves and compartments provide practical storage, while the raised top offers additional space for display.

The two levels can be used together or separately, adapting easily to serving, carrying and storage.
