Cloud Collection Bamboo Weaving Tea Set
SHANG XIA Cloud Collection Bamboo Weaving Tea Set draws inspiration from the column base of Chinese gardens and the imagery of auspicious clouds. Through an Eastern philosophy of balance, it reinterprets the restrained elegance of contemporary tea ware. The teapot's form originates from the architectural column base — the lower body solid and grounded, symbolizing a stable foundation. Extending upward, a column-like neck supports a ruyi cloud finial knob, creating a poised harmony between the upper and lower parts. The orderly and measured composition reflects the calm, self-possessed spirit of Chinese living.
The neck is adorned with curved openwork bamboo weaving over porcelain, interwoven with a lively rhythm, like drifting clouds threading through columns — merging architectural structure with the grace of flowing air. The accompanying teacups adopt a stemmed silhouette, their stems encircled by cloud-patterned bamboo weaving, echoing the teapot’s design.
The collection is completed with a tea caddy, wooden tray, snack plate, and tea warmer, fulfilling all the essentials of daily tea rituals. It brings the serene, poetic mood of the East into the intimate moments of everyday tea drinking
Five Great Kilns Tea Cup Set
Chronicled in ancient porcelain classics, the Five Great Kilns embody unparalleled craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal. Drawing on time-honored kiln heritage, SHANG XIA presents the Tea Cup Set, infusing the scholarly grace of Song porcelain into contemporary tea rituals.
The Guan Ware flaunts lustrous cyan glaze and poised elegance; the Ge Ware carries soft, understated glaze tones; the Ru Ware exudes tranquil sky-blue refinement; the Ding Ware boasts pure minimalist white; the Jun Ware features natural kiln transformations that convey oriental philosophy.
Finely polished with sleek contours and delicate glaze, every cup sits perfectly in the palm. Housed in a premium wooden box, it embodies the subtle elegance of traditional Chinese tea culture.
Zisha Reed Diffuser
Zisha ware has been valued since the Ming and Qing dynasties for its unique ability to enhance the aroma of tea. Inspired by this heritage and the form of traditional Chinese lanterns, SHANG XIA creates a new collection of scented candles using Zisha clay.
Each tea fragrance is paired with a specific clay to reflect its character: white tea with green clay, Pu’er with purple clay, and Wuyi rock oolong with greenish-gray clay. Presented in a wood grain gift box, the candle is especially suitable for gifting.
Da Tian Di Collection Carbon Fiber Chinese Go Chess Set
Weiqi, or Go, dates back to high antiquity — legend has it that the sage kings Yao and Shun used it to enlighten their people. With 19 vertical and 19 horizontal lines, black and white stones hold the workings of heaven and earth, embodying the flow of yin and yang. For millennia, what unfolds on the board has been not only victory and defeat, but the reflection of one’s inner nature.
SHANG XIA reinterprets this Eastern intellectual delight through the carbon-fiber vocabulary of the Da Tian Di Collection. Drawing on the formal essence of Ming-style furniture, it preserves the traditional structure of an outer square framing an inner circle, integrated with contemporary carbon-fiber technology — making the board thin yet stable, slender yet resilient. The stone bowls are crowned with a knob inspired by Taihu Lake stone and semi-handcrafted from zisha clay, yielding a warm, earthy tactility and a composed handfeel. The stones themselves, for the first time, are fashioned from red and white agate — gentle, radiant, suffused with a quiet warmth.
One board, a pair of bowls, red and white in quiet opposition. Within this finite space, one glimpses the vastness of heaven and earth.
Garden Collection Marble Table
Taihu Lake rocks have graced the desks of literati as treasured objects of contemplation since ancient times. Their celebrated qualities — transparency, leanness, perforation, and creasing — transcend mere form, embodying an inner integrity: in their exquisite delicacy lies clarity; in their rugged angularity lies resilience. Drawing from this essence, the SHANG XIA Garden Collection distills the imagery of Taihu rock hollows. Stripping away the ornate, it preserves only the pure open voids and flowing lines, shaping them into the base of a long table — subtly infusing modern furniture with the spirit of a garden.
The tabletop unfolds like a landscape scroll. The dark veins of Arabescato white marble naturally drift like mist and clouds passing before the eyes; it is wrapped in Italian full-grain cowhide, warm and smooth to the touch, akin to the texture of jade. Here, the eternity of stone and the intimacy of leather merge as one.
A single table standing in a room is like a garden stone placed within. It can be admired, touched, and truly lived with.
